Background
My work has primarily centered around neuropharmacology, neuroinflammation and in vitro electrophysiology. I completed my PhD in Neuroscience at Â鶹´«Ã½ Unviversity in January 2025, after 7 years part-time study. Previously, I completed my Neuroscience MRes at Â鶹´«Ã½, between 2016 and 2017, and Biology BSc at Liverpool John Moores University between 2013 and 2016.
Research
Primarily, my research interests focus on cortical network dynamics and the interplay between excitatory and inhibitory neurons. Imbalance in these neuronal networks underlie a variety of neurological and neuropsychiatric diseases. My research aims to understand the changes causing these imbalances, and find thereapeutic targets to restore normal network function.
