Background

As Deputy Head of Research, I provide strategic and operational support and advice to the Faculty Dean of R&I and Head of Faculty Research.

My role includes

 

  • the development of the Faculty Strategic Research plan and its implementation
  • the delivery of national assessments of research excellence (REF)
  • promotion of a positive research culture
  • PS lead for Governance and Ethics
  • Ensuring efficient and effective research support is available to researchers.
