I am Business Development Manager within the Commercial Enterprise Unit at the 麻豆传媒 upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, who work closely and collaboratively with the Enterprise Team at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. My role covers a broad range of enterprise-related activity, in particular commercial collaborations, project management and all things IP-related including confidentiality, patents, copyright, designs, licensing and legal agreements. In addition I assist Trust staff members in the identification and pursuance of ideas and technologies with commercial potential, working closely with FMS colleagues in the process.

 I originally completed a Chemistry degree at Imperial College and spent over 30 years working in a number of R&D management roles in Industry, notably related to technology transfer, innovation and the realisation of IP opportunities. I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property at Bournemouth University in 2013 and joined the Trust in 2015, having previously been Senior Manager Intellectual Property for Essentra plc.
