New Hatton Gallery commission announced Published on: 29 March 2016 Artists are being invited to create a new art installation based on the Hatton Gallery’s collection. While the gallery is closed for a , a programme of offsite activity will take place funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Council England. As part of this programme, expressions of interest are now being sought to create a new art installation which creatively showcases the Hatton Gallery’s collection, and references its important history in the development of installation art and exhibition design. The installation will give audiences an opportunity to engage with the gallery’s collection and history, and will tour three outdoor locations in the North East.
