Celebrated author to speak at Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Published on: 24 October 2019 Fiona Mozley will discuss her acclaimed debut novel Elmet Contemporary fiction The One Book project has returned to Âé¶¹´«Ã½.Each year, a novel by an author shortlisted for the prestigious Man Booker Prize within the last five years, is selected as the One Book choice, distributed around campus and discussed in lectures, seminars and book groups. The annual project then culminates with a conversation with the author at a prestigious public event in the University's King’s Hall. This year, 3,000 copies of Fiona Mozley’s have been made available around campus. The idea behind the scheme is to encourage students to appreciate and engage with the very best contemporary literary fiction, regardless of their chosen field of study. Fiona Mozley.
