Âé¶¹´«Ã½ appoints new Business School Dean Published on: 21 June 2022 Professor Stewart Robinson has been appointed as Dean of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Business School. Professor Robinson will start his new role on 1 July and joins Âé¶¹´«Ã½ from Loughborough University, where he was Dean of the School of Business and Economics. In that role, he led the development of the School’s undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, improved research performance and took forward its enterprise agenda. An expert in Operational Research and Computer Simulation, he has worked with a wide range of organisations developing, using and supporting the use of simulation models to improve the performance of their operations. Professor Robinson’s academic career includes 13 years at Warwick Business School (1998-2011), where he held roles including Academic Director of the Executive MBA Programme, Course Director for the MSc in Management Science and Operational Research, and Associate Dean for Specialist Masters Programmes. He holds an honours degree and a PhD in Management Science, both from Lancaster University.  He is a Fellow of the Operational Research Society, of which he was President between 2014-15. As well as being a Member of the Council of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, Professor Robinson is also a peer reviewer for the highly respected EQUIS and AACSB accreditations.
