Average teacher-student ratio
Our research students are supported through a structured and collaborative supervision process designed to foster academic excellence and independent inquiry. Each student is typically guided by a supervisory team, which will include a primary supervisor and may have one or more co-supervisors, bringing together complementary expertise to support the student’s research journey. The supervisory team provides academic guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship, helping students to refine their research questions, develop appropriate methodologies, and achieve key milestones. Regular meetings and ongoing dialogue ensure progress is effectively monitored, while also supporting the student’s professional and personal development. This partnership approach enables PGR students to thrive as emerging researchers within a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Graduate Outcomes

Our postgraduate research graduates represent the successful culmination of rigorous study, original inquiry, and dedicated supervision. Their achievements reflect not only the quality of their research contributions across diverse disciplines, but also their resilience, critical thinking, and commitment to advancing knowledge. Many of our graduates go on to pursue impactful careers in academia, industry, and public service, applying their expertise to address complex global and societal challenges.
