Extending Your Stay
We understand that your life in Â鶹´«Ã½ doesn't end just because the academic year has.
We understand that many students require accommodation during the summer months. As summer is also a busy time for our teams’ preparing rooms for the upcoming academic year, availability is limited.
If you are currently living in university-owned accommodation and are considering staying over the summer, please keep an eye out for an email inviting you to express your interest.
The availability of rooms is limited; therefore, summer accommodation is not guaranteed.
We have reached out to couples and families to discuss their plans for the period after their current contract ends.

How can I request to extend my stay in student accommodation?
Applications for summer extensions can be requested through the . Go to ‘Your Room’ and select ‘Request a Summer Extension’.
Important Notes
- Students with outstanding accommodation charges will not be eligible for a summer extension
- Summer extensions are available to 31 August 2026 in Windsor Terrace, in a washbasin room
- Summer extensions are not guaranteed and are offered on a first come first served basis
How much does it cost to extend my stay in Â鶹´«Ã½ accommodation?
Summer accommodation will be available in Windsor Terrace for summer 2026. The weekly rate is £135.80.
