A marketing internship at Emotional Logic led to a graduate position with the company as Marketing Executive.

How did you find out about the internship?

When I first came to Â鶹´«Ã½, I felt overwhelmed and uncertain about many things, especially when it came to the job market in Europe. As an international student, I didn’t know where to start with finding part-time work, internships, or even applying for full-time jobs. Everything seemed confusing and intimidating.

Accessing support from the Â鶹´«Ã½ Business School Careers and Employability team helped me navigate this new world of opportunities. One of the best resources they provided was MyCareer, a platform that became my go-to tool for job applications and discovering available opportunities.

This guidance led me to successfully secure a summer Marketing Internship through the Careers Service’s NCL Internship scheme, giving me the chance to experience UK work culture up close. I feel grateful for the opportunity to complete this internship and so thankful to the team for believing in me—even when I doubted myself.

What did you gain from the experience?

Each day of my internship taught me something—whether big lessons or small realisations—not just in marketing, but also in being a good team player and an accountable professional. These experiences have shaped the person I’m becoming for the corporate world. What made it even more special was the environment: supervisors who were always ready to guide, colleagues who felt more like friends, and a founder and manager who became true mentors. Of course, I made mistakes along the way, but looking back, each of those moments became part of my learning journey, leaving me with so many takeaways I can carry forward.

On completion of my NCL Internship, I was delighted to be offered a graduate job with Emotional Logic as Marketing Executive. I am ready to face this with even more energy and confidence.
