Caitlin Halfacre is a Research Associate acting as manager of the LingLab based in in the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences at Â鶹´«Ã½. She additionally acts as an Associate Lecturer in the School of English Literature, Language, and Linguistics.

Research

My research covers includes aspects of Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Sociophonetics and Sociolinguistics but I am particularly interested in the interactions between social and regional variation. I have previously worked as a Research Associate in Linguistics at Manchester Metropolitan University, working on the .

Teaching

Caitlin teaches on Language Variation and Phonology courses in Linguistics in SELLL.
