Explain how you got this job after studying Geography at Â鶹´«Ã½

From studying three incredible years at Â鶹´«Ã½ I truly knew I’d like to share my passion for geography to future generations in secondary education.

After completing my degree I went on to complete my Secondary PGCE to then become a teacher where I am today. Before my teacher training, studying Geography at Â鶹´«Ã½ was essential to find inspiration and key skills to take with me while I trained to be a teacher.

Through studying Geography at Â鶹´«Ã½, I was able to take part in many different activities such as the Royal Geographical Society where my inspiration to become a teacher was born.

How do you employ skills learnt during your degree, in your current job?

Being a teacher, I live and breathe geography so each module that I studied has been important.

The best part about studying Geography at Â鶹´«Ã½ was the field trip module during the second year as well as the support the staff offered me during my time at Â鶹´«Ã½. I was also able to meet lots of friends for life.
