Events and Activities
In October, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ celebrated the achievements of people with African and Caribbean heritage as part of Black History Month. Some of these events are highlighted below. They took place in the Schools of History, Classics and Archaeology (HCA) and , as part of the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Insights Public Lecture series and through our Vital North Partnership.
Race Equality Charter and Network
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ is a member of the Race Equality Charter (REC). Read more about the charter and the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Race Equality Network (NU-REN), a university-wide network open to all staff members and postgraduate research students who self-identify as belonging to a minoritised background on the grounds of ethnicity.
