Dietetics, Nutrition and Sport and Exercise Science Experience Day (Year 12)

Date:13 July 2026 |
Time:09:30 - 16:00
Location:Â鶹´«Ã½

These events are designed for Year 12 students who are interested in pursuing a degree in Dietetics, Human Nutrition, or Sport and Exercise Science. Experience Days offer a valuable opportunity to experience university life and learn about the admissions process.

This year's Experience Day centres on brain health, one of the most exciting and fast-growing areas in health science. You'll explore how what we eat and how we move can shape brain function across the lifespan. The day will examine this from two angles: the role of food and nutrition (spanning public health and clinical settings) and the role of physical activity and exercise.

Students will have the chance to take part in a range of hands-on learning experiences exploring this theme, including practical sessions in our state-of-the-art kitchens and laboratories. Our Experience Days also offer a broader opportunity to explore university life, learn about our Dietetics, Nutrition and Sport and Exercise Science degrees, and gain insight into the admissions process, all of which is valuable material for your UCAS application.
