£1.5m donated to date to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Fund

Since its launch, over £1.5million has been donated to the Â鶹´«Ã½ Student Fund by generous graduates and friends of the university, benefitting our 27,000-strong student community across our three global campuses.

Over £15,000 raised by Great North Runners to support students

A dedicated team of alumni, colleagues and friends laced up their running shoes and took on the world’s biggest and best half-marathon in aid of future generations of Â鶹´«Ã½ graduates.

History graduate’s legacy to inspire local students in the arts

The Mark Scrimshaw Memorial Fund will provide two Â鶹´«Ã½ students from areas of hardship with a three-year scholarship to empower them to pursue a degree in the arts.
