Research at Â鶹´«Ã½ is advancing at a pace and with an extraordinary real-world impact. Philanthropic support ensures that promising discoveries move even more quickly from idea to impact, transforming lives and communities.
Since the Â鶹´«Ã½ Research and Discovery Fund was launched in 2023, over £600,000 has been donated.
Donations have helped us:
- invest in research programmes with global reach and real-world impact
- ensure that our world-leading academic teams have access to state-of-the-art facilities for the most ambitious research programmes of the future
- support PhD scholarships and early-career researchers
PhD Scholarships
To help tackle some of the greatest issues facing society today, we need to attract top research talent to Â鶹´«Ã½. Finding funding for PhD study can often be challenging, but donor-supported PhD scholarships remove these barriers and ensure talented research students can take the first steps in their academic careers.
Â鶹´«Ã½'s donor community has supported over 200 PhD scholarships in the past 3 years.
