Postgraduates Who Teach

Teaching offers many postgraduate students the opportunity to develop valuable transferable skills while making an important contribution to the University's teaching and learning community.

The Postgraduates Who Teach (PGWT) Policy, together with the FAQs and supporting guidance, explains how postgraduate teaching opportunities are offered, the support available to postgraduate teachers, and the principles that underpin these arrangements. The policy also supports the University's ongoing efforts to reduce casualised employment by increasing opportunities for planned, contracted teaching activity where appropriate.
