How it's delivered

The delivery of our apprenticeship programme will include:

  • versatile online delivery through learning platform - Canvas
  • support from a vocational skills coach each month
  • specialist masterclasses to enhance learning

The programme includes a minimum of 348 hours of off the job training, typically delivered at an average of 20-25 hours per month. Employers and apprentices can agree how this time is managed, provided all apprenticeship activity takes place within normal working hours.

Assessment

Throughout the programme, apprentices complete practical, work based activities that allow them to gather real life evidence for their portfolio.

The end point assessment consists of:

  • a professional discussion based on the completed portfolio
  • a multiple-choice knowledge test
  • a project presentation based on a process improvement project that the apprentice leads on and completes during their practical training (from month 9 onwards)

The final end-point assessment involves an interview based on your portfolio, a 50 multiple choice knowledge test, and a project presentation. This presentation will be based on a work project completed during your apprenticeship.
