Overview

What does it take to keep our critical digital systems safe? Today's cyber security experts must be adaptable, resilient and able to think critically.

However, the rapid evolution of AI tools represents a dramatic step-change. AI can now analyse complex datasets in seconds and identify vulnerabilities. This can be used to strengthen systems, or exploit them.

In this technical course, you'll develop advanced knowledge of AI, and discover how it can help to build more resilient and secure systems. 

Our curriculum is delivered by accomplished data scientists and cyber security specialists, including experts at the . 

You'll master AI concepts such as:

  • machine learning
  • deep learning
  • natural language processing
  • computer vision

Through practical projects and discussions, you'll then apply them to the field of cyber security. We'll explore key aspects of information security and how to enforce them, as well as the decision-making that goes into detecting and patching vulnerabilities. You'll be guided through topics including:

  • threat models
  • vulnerability analysis
  • ethical hacking
  • offensive security
  • cryptography
