About Muhammad
Hi, my name is Muhammad and I am an undergraduate student here at Â鶹´«Ã½, I am currently studying BSc Computer Science and I am originally from Malaysia. I chose to study here in Â鶹´«Ã½ because I love the inspiring architecture of the University and living here in general. The university has a nice mixture of old and new buildings.
I really enjoy the course I am studying which is BSc Computer Science at undergraduate level. Throughout the course, I learned how to absorb information quickly and be resourceful in finding relevant knowledge to help me refine my skills.
Life in Â鶹´«Ã½
Â鶹´«Ã½ is also a fantastic city to be a student. It is very accessible city as it is not too large, and everything can be reached easily. It has great transport links including the metro service which links the city to the coast and the international airport. Â鶹´«Ã½ also has a low cost of living compared to some other cities here in the UK.
When it comes to societies or extra-curricular activities I participate in the Malaysian Society and frequently attend Intramural Sports in Badminton and Table Tennis. These activities really helped me make meaningful connections throughout my years at Â鶹´«Ã½.
I like how diverse the modules are, which has allowed me to explore different fields in the Computer Science specialism and spark my interests in other areas within the field.
Support and wellbeing
Â鶹´«Ã½ has a great support network in place for students. Whilst I have been a student at Â鶹´«Ã½, I have received several check-up emails from the university concerning my wellbeing, It has been reassuring to have such a supportive environment whilst studying and has been helpful in keeping my mental health in check.
